Advanced Canyoning Adventure

Take your adrenaline to the next level with our Advanced Canyoning experience. This journey is designed for those who want more heights, more slides, and an immersive river descent through the heart of the jungle.

The Journey Begins

Your expedition starts with Waterfall Hunting, witnessing the majestic Pallewela waterfalls (25 ft, 85 ft, and 275 ft). This is followed by a challenging 3 km jungle trek through rugged paths and natural rock formations, crossing the Kirindi Oya river to reach the secluded Waraka Ara Waterfall.

Phase 1: The Upper Pools & High Jumps

After climbing to the top of the waterfall using specialized rope techniques, we reach the natural upper pools. We start step-by-step to gear up your courage:

• 6 ft Confidence Jump: A warm-up to test the waters.


• 25 ft Commando Military Ladder Jump: Climb the vertical ladder, traverse the safety cable, and plunge into the deep pool.


• 26 ft Natural Rock Slide: Feel the rush as you slide down smooth, ancient stone.


• The Triple Threat Jumps: Conquer your fears with a 26 ft jump, followed by a massive 30 ft jump, and finally a 29 ft leap into the crystal-clear depths.

Phase 2: The River Descent & Rapid Slides

Unlike the regular tour, the adventure doesn't stop at the top. We navigate down through the river to reach our second adventure spot. This section is packed with swimming, small tactical jumps, and river fun. Then, we take on the waterfall slides:

• 6 ft "Back Wave" Slide: A short, high-intensity slide through a natural water wave.


• 20 ft Technical Rock Slide: A fast descent through the rushing current.


• 35 ft Monster Rock Slide: The ultimate canyoning finale—our longest and most thrilling natural slide.

After conquering the canyon, we trek 3 km back through the jungle to the starting point. We provide drinking water, professional safety equipment, and expert guidance throughout the journey.

Location & Gear

• Location: Pallewela Falls, Waraka Ara, and the extended River Descent trail.


• Equipment Provided: Helmets, Life Jackets, Hand Gloves, Elbow and Knee Guards, Ropes, and First Aid support.


• What to Bring: Comfortable water-friendly clothes and sturdy trekking shoes or sandals.

Activity Details

• Time: Available from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM


• Activity Duration: Approximately 4 to 4½ hours (Duration may vary depending on participant speed).

Safety & Rules

• Full instruction session and introduction to all safety equipment before starting.


• Guided by senior certified instructors with continuous supervision.


• Participants must be over 6 years of age and in good physical health.


• Strictly no drugs or alcohol.


• Mobile phones are prohibited during the activity for safety reasons.


• Participants must follow instructor guidance at all times.
